Orthopedic Surgeon: Adult Reconstruction

Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists (SOS) is a leading musculoskeletal practice serving Central New York, offering a comprehensive spectrum of orthopedic care.

We are currently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction (hip and knee arthroplasty) to join our growing team.

The SOS Joint Replacement Team is recognized as one of the top-performing programs in the country, completing more than 3,000 joint replacement surgeries annually. Notably, 60% of these procedures are performed at our award-winning Specialists’ One-Day Surgery Center, a nationally recognized ambulatory surgical facility with the latest advances in robotic surgical tools. Patients travel from across the region to receive care from our joint replacement specialists that consistently exceed national standards.

With several physicians' approaching retirement in the coming years, this role presents a tremendous opportunity to inherit an established and loyal patient base. This is an ideal position for a surgeon who is eager to be part of a high-volume, outcomes-driven, and research-focused team.

Position Highlights:

· Established referral base and high case volume

Qualifications:

· Fellowship trained in Adult Reconstruction

· Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

· Eligible for New York State medical license

Compensation and Benefits:

· $450,000 starting salary with bonus incentives

· $50,000 signing bonus
